TRE® with children
Using TRE® with children in a shelter
Tuesday 14th of May, 2024 | 5 pm CEST.
This is a free talk and open to anyone.
As a psychologist I have used TRE together with other approaches to help the children living living in the shelter I work at. The children in the shelter come from unprivileged backgrounds and many of them are traumatized.
In this talk I will share my experience using TRE for helping traumatized children, the results I see, how I use TRE in the shelter with the kids, in groups and combine it with play, dance etc. and also some general ideas and guidelines for using TRE with kids.

TRE® with Children
TRE® connect, Q&A and tremor session with Hans Holter Solhjell and Jelena Vajagic
Tuesday 14th of May, 2024 | 6:15 pm CEST.
In this two-hour session, we will connect and share experiences related to the topic of the talk and TRE® in general, and you can ask questions related to the topic of the talk.
We will also do a tremor session, demonstrate interventions and modifications, and provide individual guidance and support.
Learn why TRE® is so helpful in restoring Motor and Sensory systems and how can we use it with more efficacy.
These sessions are for those with quite a bit of experience with TRE® as a personal practice, instructors, and trainers. They are not beginner sessions and provide additional ideas, exercises, and interventions compared to the basic set of TRE® exercises.
The purpose of these sessions are also to connect with others who practice TRE® to share experiences, support and learn from each other.
Price: 490 NOK (Norwegian Kroner).

About Jelena Vajagic
Psychologist, TRE provider and TRE trainer trainee
I am a psychologist whom have a lifelong interest in movement, dance and theater. I have also always looked for better ways and methods to help others. From my childhood I was involved in dance and theater and my first work with children was through Forum theater workshops with a focus to improve their their self-value.
When I learned about TRE I saw that it would be very useful for working with the children in the shelter I work at. I was one of the first TRE instructors in Serbia and now I am on training to become a TRE trainer. I am also on training to become teacher in 5Rhythms movement dance meditation and BSP practitioner. And I am licensed for Breathwork, instructor level 1.
